Why is CWSE Accreditation Important?

CSWE stands for the Council on Social Work Education, which holds social work schools to standards that define competent preparation for social work professionals. CSWE is the only organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) for accrediting social work education in the United States. In addition to ensuring the quality of your education, CSWE accreditation means that you will be able to sit for your licensing examination upon graduation. Read more about CSWE accreditation.

How Do You Qualify for the Advanced Standing MSW at Wurzweiler?

Applications for Advanced Standing are reviewed individually by the Admissions Committee, composed of university faculty and social work professionals, and evaluated for superior academic performance, positive referrals and personal commitment to the demands of social work.

As noted below, your application package must include a personal statement and a letter of recommendation. Find helpful advice for writing your personal statement and requesting recommendation letters, along with other topics of interest, in our blog.
