2018-2019 Tuition Requirements for the Master of Social Work

Tuition for the Master of Social Work (MSW) is calculated on a per-credit-hour basis at a current rate of $1,050 per hour. Additional program fees apply and may include the following:

  • Program Registration Fees: $65 per semester
  • Graduation Fee: $150

Note: Tuition and fees are subject to change annually.

Scholarships

Wurzweiler School of Social Work is pleased to offer a 10% degree completion scholarship* for all new online students for the Online Master of Social Work. This scholarship is automatically applied at the end of the program. No additional paperwork is required. Contact an admissions advisor for more information.

At the Wurzweiler School of Social Work, we understand that an MSW can greatly enhance your opportunities to achieve specific professional goals and fully realize your desire to serve as a social work professional. We also understand that financial aid can be critical in making program participation possible and are pleased to assist students in applying for available tuition support.

If you are interested in requesting financial aid for your MSW, we ask that you file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the Yeshiva University Federal School code of 002903 and campus code of 00.

Loan Repayment and Forgiveness

Loan repayment and forgiveness programs can significantly reduce or eliminate your graduate school debt. We encourage you to explore the following loan forgiveness programs and employer-sponsored loan repayment programs available to social workers:

Additional Financial Aid Opportunities for International Students

International students at Wurzweiler, including those who are not a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident or eligible non-citizen, may qualify for additional financial aid opportunities.1 To explore your options and be considered for supplemental tuition support, please complete the International Graduate Student Financial Aid Application.

*Degree Completion Scholarship offer available only to qualified new (first-time) enrollees for the Online Master of Social Work programs, not current or returning students to the program. Scholarship funds not payable directly to recipient, funds will be credited exclusively toward tuition in the student's final academic term of the program. If student receives other forms of financial assistance, the student's financial assistance may require modification to account for the scholarship by preventing any 'over-award,' such that the total financial assistance received does not exceed the cost of attendance, as defined and determined by the Office of Financial Aid of Yeshiva University. Recipients of the scholarship must remain continuously enrolled in the program through completion. Exceptions may be granted for students who obtain a university-approved leave of absence. Students receiving the scholarship must maintain satisfactory academic progress at all times for scholarship to remain in effect. This scholarship offer may be revised, rescinded or terminated at any time. All admissions and scholarship decisions of Wurzweiler School of Social Work are final.
